Trading Terms and Conditions

Abbreviations

• ‘Buyer’ - person or company named in the purchase order.
• ‘Seller’ – person or company, to which the purchase order is issued, currently called Hari Om Laser.
• ‘Goods’ –all work to be done by the seller as specified in the purchase order.
• ‘Purchase Order’ – buyer’s purchase order which specifies the conditions applying on it
• ‘The Contract’ –agreement between buyer and seller, including the purchase order,conditions .

Service

• Hari Om Laser provides advance cutting and engraving service for products supplied by the buyer.
• Artwork supplied for a product must agree with the “guidelines for artwork”.
• Hari Om Laserwill work with the artwork for cutting or marking on to the defined product to produce a sample. The sample prepared by cutting and/or engraving must be agreed with the buyer before manufacturing process is started and will form part of the contract.
• Changes to the sample or contract after completion of work may subjectto cancellation or modification costs.
• Services are applied on the understanding that the terms and conditions of trading are accepted by the buyer.

Price

• The price shall be as specified in the contract/P.O., with the buyer bearing the cost of carriage and packaging, unless specified or stated.

Payment

• Payment for complete manufacturing processwill be specified in the bill.
• For new clients a fraction of payment may be required to be submitted with the order.
• For large orders Hari Om Laser may request a stage payment to cover inventory items, this will be the subject of negotiation and included in the contract/P.O.

Delivery Of Goods

• Delivery is made to the address specified in the contract/P.O or later specified by the buyer.
• Expensive, light and delicate items are subject to special conditions of delivery to insure against the risk of accidental damage or destruction.

Further variation in design

• No addition or variation of design will apply on material, unless specified by the buyer before the starting of manufacturing process. No agent or person employed by or under contract with the company will alter or vary these conditions in any way.

Guidelines for Artwork

CDR files require no conversion or processing and save time and work.

The quality of the engraved image depends on quality of the artwork for which Hari Om Laser has little or no control.

Digital artwork should be supplied to us either as an e-mail (preferred) or supplied on a CD, DVD or USB data drive.

• File Types supported- TIFF, JPG, BMP, CDR(vector design highly recommended for cutting).
• images of high resolution has a direct bearing on the detail that we are able to engraveon material, therefore gives best resultsfrom high quality images, or send a good quality print for scanning. 600 dpi images give best results.
• Images supplied in Black & White as a BMP file to a high resolution may not require any further processing on our part and therefore will not be subject to any conversion of file format for engraving.
